Xcaret announced last Tuesday, September 21 at its press conference that the Festival of Life and Death Traditions The fifteenth edition of the most important festival of the year will take place from October 30 to November 2 and the best thing is that our state Quintana Roo will be proudly presented through gastronomy, culture and tradition in this festival .

Xcaret Park will have the presence of national artists like the staging of Macario, the godson of the death, with the participation of the first actor: Ignacio Lopez Tarso; theatrical performances and musicals with regional artists through titles; local and home artists, concerts, the Xcaret ball game, dance troupes with dance companies and Mayan artists. In the Hacienda Interactiva, there will be exhibitions and activities for the whole family. There will also be an exquisite gastronomic sample of the 3 regions of Quintana Roo, where visitors can taste delicious traditional dishes such as tikin xik fish, sweet pumpkin, panuchos and salbutes, black stuffing, tamales sancochellen, calo entre chellen, tamales sancochellen many more delicacies . And as every year, Xcaret will open the space to local artisans and farmers so that visitors can purchase products directly from them such as: traditional embroidery, filigree, clothing, lamps and a myriad of artisans sorbet arts from Quintas, traditional sweets of Yucatan. , cheeses and artisanal wine, honey, beers and artisanal mezcal, among others. Also, every day of the Festival will have a spectacular closing with the Gala Concert, included in the entrance, which in this edition will present a repertoire alluding to the day of the dead with music from the Camarata Sinfónica de Xcaret, Mariachi Femenil and Cantachi, which will be brought to the open forum.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico will offer an exquisite and innovative culinary experience with gourmet dishes and fusion cuisine inspired by the Mayan Zone, created by Chef Carlos Gaytán together with the extensive gastronomic knowledge of Orlando Trejo at Restaurant Há; while the Las Cuevas restaurant will be pointed out in the Mayan underworld, where you can enjoy the Hanal Pixán or Banquete de las Ánimas, with a buffet alluding to the day of the dead. In turn, guests will be able to witness different moments of music, artistic presentations, photo sessions with La Catrina and clown theater.
