At the Festival of Traditions of Life and Death this is celebrated by sharing the tradition of a state of the republic.  Through regional artists, typical gastronomy and local crafts it is able to give a cultural representation of how the Day of Deads in this state is lived.  This year\u2019s guest is our state: Quintana Roo.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/puertomorelostravelagency.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Culture-and-tradition-has-been-celebrated-at-the-Festival-of.png\" alt=\"altar-xcaret\" class=\"wp-image-22258\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\"  \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>This celebration goes beyond <strong>put an altar<\/strong> or eat the delicious and hot<strong> dead bread<\/strong>, but it is the most important tradition in Mexico, it is something that unites us.  Many people have been inspired by the <strong>Day of the souls <\/strong>already through the arts they seek to express Mexican culture and identity, so the Festival of Traditions of Life and Death of Xcaret seeks to bring artists and artisans who can share with all their music, dance and joy.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/puertomorelostravelagency.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/1635814788_716_Culture-and-tradition-has-been-celebrated-at-the-Festival-of.png\" alt=\"hanal-pixan-xcaret\" class=\"wp-image-22254\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\"  \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<h4><strong>The curtain rises<\/strong> <\/h4>\n<p>One of the activities you can enjoy within the festival are the plays.  You are looking to show the creativity of the local groups in the state represented.  This year the works range from comedy performances with titles, great shows with renowned artists, and everyone talks about how culture is lived on Souls Day.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/puertomorelostravelagency.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/1635814788_621_Culture-and-tradition-has-been-celebrated-at-the-Festival-of.png\" alt=\"festival-of-traditions-of-life-and-death-work\" class=\"wp-image-22268\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\"  \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>This edition of the festival shares works by local groups such as the company Magia Esc\u00e9nica presenting &#8220;El Rezo de la T\u00eda Salma&#8221; and other performances are the Grupo Jot Suuk de Tihosuco, &#8220;El Chiclero Fanfarr\u00f3n&#8221;.  The great show you can&#8217;t miss is the work of <strong>Ignacio L\u00f3pez Tarso \u201cMacario, the Godson of Death\u201d <\/strong>which tells the story of a lumberjack who is about to fulfill his dream when he is presented with the Devil, God and Death What will happen to this character?<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/puertomorelostravelagency.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/1635814788_10_Culture-and-tradition-has-been-celebrated-at-the-Festival-of.png\" alt=\"work-macario\" class=\"wp-image-22262\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\"  \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Through the theatrical art one looks for to portray complex subjects like the death and the importance of a light and funny form, very to the Mexican humor. <strong>The Day of the Dead in the theater tries to stage our sorrows and laugh at them for a while<\/strong>. On your tour of the park you will be able to find different regional groups making live music. There is also the Sesqui\u00e1ltera Quintet from Playa del Carmen who transmit their young sounds to us through traditional Mexican music. Through music we live the celebration and embrace both life and death.
